Miss Megan Ferguson

My name is Megan Ferguson, and I began my teaching career in 2013.  I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from McNeese and added on my Reading Specialist Certification through LSU-Shreveport.  My favorite subject to teach is English-Language Arts because I love helping my students learn how to read and write with confidence.  In 2019, I was named Elementary Teacher of the Year for Calcasieu Parish, and it was the biggest honor I have received.  I look forward to many more years in the field of Education, helping children in their quest for learning.
