Hello! My name is Ms. Burckel, welcome to my classroom. A little bit about me… I was born and raised in Lake Charles. I received my bachelors degree from Louisiana State University and then I came back to Lake Charles and got my masters degree from McNeese State University. Me and my family are BIG McNeese supporters, and we love to cheer on the Pokes. I have been teaching since 2019, and I look forward to many wonderful years ahead.  My hope for each of my student’s, is that they find a love for learning, in an environment that is encouraging, creative, and where they feel valued.
